Go to Foundations

There is such a variety of foundations accommodating almost everyone from shades, skin type, aging, matte and dewy. Light weight to 24 hour holds, I personally don't know anyone who needs their foundations to last 24 hours but I'm happy that they have one. At times I am wearing foundation from 5am till about 7-8pm in the evening. So having foundation that can last that long is amazing. From drug store to high end the prices range, and lately drugstore foundations have been catching and at times beating some high end foundation.

Having tried brands from MAC cosmetics, Urban Decay, Too Faced and Clinique. I have for some reason always been drawn to my drugstore foundations. It might be because I have three little ones and finding makeup that is budget friendly is important. Also in a drug store I don't find myself feeling rushed or bothered as much as when Ive been to  Sephora or Ulta and the MAC store. I'm not sure if its because thats their job to help and sell but I am alright with the drug store.

At the moment I have three go brands for foundations that are easily found at any drug store and fair on price.

Milani Conceal and Prefect liquid foundation: this foundation came to me as a surprise I heard mixed reviews about it being too thick and having pink understones. I bought it in two shades for my regular skin tone and my summer skin tone which if I'm outside a lot is about 1-2 shades darker. The lighter shade was a perfect match and me being a mom and having dark circles did wonders. The 08 shade I use during the summer months when I have a tan. The feel is good and the coverage is WOW!

Maybeline Fit Me: Both in the Matte and Pourless and the Dewy Smooth formula. I used to have the original that was more of a soft natural feel. In this case I like that they came out with the two different kinds. It allows the customer to have the operation of  Matte and Dewy. When I started using these I was shocked at how they felt,  like I said I like the original one but these are better. In my opinion.

L'O'real:  The Infallible Collection, Pro Matte, Pro Glow and Total Cover also the Lift Blur is one of my faves. I spoken about these in a previous post but I can't stop raving out them, Not only does it cater to all skin types but the Pro Matte has twelve shades lightest being Classic Ivory and the darkest being Cocoa. Also that fact that you can mix two colors is also a great thing.

These foundations you can find almost every drugstore. I know the RiteAid in my area doesn't carry Milani, I am hoping that changes. Also they are affordable and won't break bank. Always a plus for me.

Until next time

xoxo
