First Week Back to School

Getting ready for back to school is mainly fun for the kids. As parents, we are in a warrant stress that our kids do good in school, whether they are good kids or not so good.

While scrolling thru Facebook I came across this video. It is hilarious and so true, we complain about having to do all this school shopping but yet these teachers are putting up with our kids. I like some parents wait until the last week of summer to pick up school supplies. Yup, I said it. That's usually when Staples has their biggest sale! This year for the 2nd grade the list got bigger, fewer paper towels and wipes, more notebooks and paper. 

The first day of school is always crazy, the parents are either crying or pushing their kids into the school to feel that freedom lol. I like to wait till some of the crazy dies' down to let my kid go into the yard.  She was super excited about school which made me less worried and calmer. That night was hilarious she was already complaining about some of the kids, some were too loud, crying and didn't speak. The first two days were calm but now that a full week has gone by she is more excited about the school year. 

Now let's see how the rest of the year goes when it gets harder. Wish me luck lol
