My Top 10 Favorite Makeup Products
As time goes by and we use new products there are always a few that become the ones we reach for over the rest. Below is a list of the ones I tend to reach for on a daily basis.
- Maybelline Baby Skin
This primer reminds me of the Benefit POREfessional face primer, for a fraction of the price. It blurs out my pores without feeling heavy and keeps my foundation on all day.
- Maybelline Fit me Foundation in Matte & Poreless - Shade 220 Natural Beige
I have always been a fan of Maybelline's Fit me foundation even before they made one that was Matte & Poreless and Dewy & Smooth. It's a buildable foundation from Medium to full coverage. The finish is not a caked on finish but a more natural matte finish.
- Maybelline Fit me Concealer - Shade 15 Fair
This concealer has been my ride or die. I have tried so many drug store concealers and even though some are good this will always be my go-to. It has a creamy consistency and with the stick applicator it is super simple to apply. It blends easily and doesn't dry instantly.
- L'Oreal Infallible Pro - Matte Liquid Foundation- Shade 103 Natural Buff
When I want a more full coverage matte look and don't have to much time to do my makeup, I always reach for this foundation. The color has a slight yellow undertone but with concealer to highlight its not bad. I love this.
- L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16HR Powder - Shade Natural Beige
I use this as my setting powder. I was using the Maybelline Fit me setting powder for a while. When I tried this one I lost it. It is great, feels light on the skin, and leaves the skin smooth, not flaky.
- L'Oreal Voluminous Volume Building Waterproof Mascara - Black
Mascara is such a hard thing to pick. I have several that I like a lot but this one is my all time favorite. I always come back to get it. There is no smudging, no running, and takes makeup remover to get off. I have been caught in the rain and this mascara outlasted my actual face make up.
- Wet & Wild Blush Mellow Wine (328B)
This Blush is so buttery soft and blends so well. This color can go with any look. Having tried blushes from Elf, Covergirl, and Revlon I can say that this blush beats them all. And to top it off it is so affordable.
- Wet & Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Powder
I am obsessed with this product. You can use each highlight individually or all together go give a beautiful finish. Not only is the pigment on the highlight beautiful but it is affordable too.
- Wet & Wild Velvet Lipsticks - Shade A361 Toffee Frappe & A362 Looking For Truffle
Smooth feeling on the lips and pigment that I could kill for. I honestly think these colors will look beautiful on any complexion.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade - Shade Medium Brown
There is little else to say but WOW. Yes I know that everything on this list is very affordable and can be found at your local drug store. Except this one. I have tried the Milani Brow Pomade, the Revlon Brow Pencil, and the Maybelline Brow Pomade stick. But they couldn't compare to my ABH (Anastasia Beverly Hills) brow pomade. It glides on smooth and last all day. I love this.
There are much more but these tend to my all time favorites.
Will update when this list changes.
