Top 10 Makeup Products That Did Not Work for Me

We all have tried makeup products that haven't worked out for us. Below are a list of beauty products I had high hopes for and didn't work out for me.

Maybelline Master Fix Setting & Perfecting Loose Powder
I love all the Master products by Maybelline and was so excited to try the setting powder. After setting my concealer and setting my contour and wiping it away, I took a selfie and I looked like a glammed up dead woman and the flash back was crazy.  Which leads me to the next one my list.

E.L.F Cosmetics HD Powder in Translucent
This product I was hoping was nothing like the Maybelline. It was a finer powder so I had hope but I sure was wrong. I still had a bright flash back and in the sun I looked crazy. Even when using a stippling brush to wipe it away.

Maybelline Deam Velvet Soft Matte Foundation
I had high hopes for this since I'm such a fan of mostly all maybelline foundations. On the back of my hand the constancy felt nice and light. Plus, it looked great too. When using a flat top kabuki brush my face was streaky and patchy. I tied a couple times with the beauty sponge which was better, but after several hours I ended up with a pink undertone.

Physicians Formula Primer Argan Oil with Coconut water
I was excited for this primer. I use argan oil for my skin and it feels great. So I had high hopes for this. Not only did my skin feel extremely oily but the foundation was sliding on my face and would start to oxidize. After two tries with two different types of foundation I stopped trying.

Physicians Formula  Argan Oil Lip Oil
This was a waste of money. $12.99 for two in a box was such a waste. Not only does it taste like perfume but it was gone after a few seconds leaving my lips feeling naked.

Physician's Formula Conceal Rx Physicians Strength Concealer, Fair Light
This concealer dried so fast and was difficult to blend out. After several hours it creased and looked so dry.

Wet & Wild Color Icon Brow Pencil
I love Wet & Wild brow products but this pencil dried so fast and wasn't pigmented. I had to sharpen it several times while doing my brows leaving them looking choppy and thick.

Jesse's Girl Pure Pigment Eye Dusts
Jesse's Girl has some good products and when my local Rite Aid put these Pure Pigments out I purchased almost every color. They aren't really pigmented, you have to pack on a lot of product on a wet base. I used both the NYX eye shadow base and a cream shadow. With both I had to pack it on and was left with a lot of fall out while applying and during the day.

NYX Baked Blush & Illuminator & Bronzer in Ladylike
This is a pink color and doesn't show up at all on my face. I figured I bought the wrong one so I tried it on a friend and it looked great on her. I was so very sad.

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Eyeliner in 110 Black
This eyeliner was amazing when I first applied it and I was instantly impressed. It went on smooth and lasted for most of the day. When I went to use it again the next day it was dry and started to wear off during the day leaving me with one wing. Really!

If these worked for you that's great. I wish they worked for me. Did they work for you?
