What's in my bag! Weekend Edition

Hello lovely mamas, 

We know that packing a diaper bag is a mission and they all change over time. With my oldest I had a diaper bag until she was about 1.5 years old. I followed the traditional rule of thumb which meant carrying everything in your medicine cabinet and a full blown first aid kit. Yes, I was a first time mom and took everything literally. Boy was that bag heavy!

With my second I didn't use a diaper bag; instead, I used a large canvas bag. It made more sense because when it got crazy dirty with food -- and god knows what stains -- I just threw it in the wash. 

Now that my weekend entails dance class for two daughters and bringing my little man with me, my bag is usually packed to the brim. A backpack just seems more logical. Inside this bag we have:

• Diapers in two Different Sizes
• Diaper case and changing pad
• Wipes
• A small zip bag with a couple Band-Aids, a small thermometer, and travel size Tylenol and Motrin
• My wallet
• Portable phone charger
• Art activities for my two daughters
• Toys for the little man
• My phone (Duh!) 
• Change of Clothes
• The girls' dance outfits and shoes
• Sippy cups (Yes! More then One)
• Snacks
• More Snacks lol
• If I'm lucky, a book for me while i'm waiting for the girls to be done at dance and little man is asleep

Usually my oldest has her own backpack with her own stuff for when she’s complaining that she’s bored or wants to be antisocial. Her backpack usually has a book she’s reading and some random toys that will keep her entertained.
