Oval Brush
Ever since seeing one of my favorite YouTube'r using a oval brush I was curious to try one out. A friend had let me try her Artis Oval 10 and I was in love. I looked it up online and the Artis Oval brushes range from was $36-77 per brush. I quickly became heartbroken because I knew for a fact I can not justify making that purchase. Remember ladies I'm on a budget lol. I have seen some similar ones on Amazon.com for $7.99, Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I have been skeptical om purchasing one because it can either be a hit or a miss.
Finally a month ago I bit the bullet and purchased them. I bought three of them to try them out a 109 for $9.99 that can be compared to the oval 8, the 107 for $5.99 that can be compared to the oval 6 and the 102 for $3.99 that can be compared to the oval 4. When I got home first thing I did was take a picture on my purchase lol, and crank them open. They are so soft to the touch, at first I thought the brush was going to sock up all my foundation.
They work! I have to be honest not as great at the Artis Oval brushes but they do work well. The 109 brush which I use for foundation doesn't leave my foundation looking patchy or with streaks like some brushes I have used in the past. It dose not soak up foundation like some brushes I have tried and leaves my skin looking smooth and not caked up. The 107 brush I use for concealer under my eyes, it blends my concealer without taking or swiping the concealer away from where I need it. the 102 brush I use to carve out my contour, which is great for my nose.
I would recommend these brushes to anyone looking to trying out an Artis dupe and doesn't want to pay so much for a single brush.
