Over the last couple of months, I’ve been keeping my makeup routine simple. I love the beauty community and there are so many beautiful pallets and beauty products to try. I wanted to share what I've been loving lately and can’t seem to put it down. Not all of these are beauty products, they are an array of things I have been obsessed with.
Foundations are something that changes often, I try a new one for a while to see if I truly love it, if I do it will make its way to my favorites. The two that I can’t put down are the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Fresh Wear foundation and the Clinique beyond perfecting foundation. There are so many great things about these two. The L’Oreal foundation smells great and is a lightweight, my skin feels shockingly fresh. It is buildable coverage, letting you cover spots that you need/want to be covered without feeling thick on the skin. Great for summertime wear, another one is the Clinique beyond perfecting foundation. This foundation is on the more full coverage side, I only need about a swipe of the applicator to cover my entire face. I personally like to apply this with a brush rather than a beauty blender, because I find it to leave a more flawless finish.
One thing I thought was so funny was that I have tones of blushes and usually use them once in a while so none are really used down to the pan. I bought a blush trio from tarte called “double duty beauty make every moment count” I purchased it on Ipsy along with my monthly bag. I have been using this every day, especially on my simple looks. The color payoff is good and doesn’t look chalky or harsh on the skin.
My Fjallraven Kanken bag has been my best friend! I was so hesitant in purchasing, mainly because Juan was convinced I was only going to use it for a couple of days and that was it. I got it anyway and I am so happy I did. The one I bought was the one that fits a laptop in the back, with the extra padding. I use this thing on a regular basis, I fit so much of my stuff as well as the kid's stuff during the weekends. When we take trips to the city and we don’t wanna take a diaper bag for little man, everything fits in my backpack.
Because my makeup has been more on the simpler side my eyeshadow game has been laking lol. There are a couple that I can’t seem to not use and those are the HudaBeauty Mauve Obsessions and Morphe Always Golden Pallete. With both these pallets, I have a beautiful mixture of browns and mauves, colors that I’ve been gravitating towards these last couple months. One beauty trend that I can’t seem to stop loving is the Monochromatic looks, they are beautiful and so simple. I will be writing a post on this trend soon.
Something that has been saving my life is my Takeya 32 ounce water bottle, I have to be completely transparent. I have a horrible habit of forgetting to drink water, to the point that by the end of the day I was ending up with a headache. Because I spend my day drinking coffee and tea. Now that I carry it with all the time Its a reminder that I need to drink water.
I got a manicure a little while back and was given the ibi shea butter hydrating hand cream and my goodness. My hands have never felt so soft, I wash dishes all the time and my hands get so dry. With this hand cream my hands are soft and don’t feel greasy the way some hand creams leave you hands feeling.
Having a planner is a must for me, I do have a planner on my phone that I have been using and loving which it the ArtfulAgenda app. Writing things down first has always been a thing for me, it's said but I use two. My Moleskin Daily Planner and my DearDiary, I use them differently. My Moleskin is for all things family, personal, keto and school. My DearDiary I use for my Blog and business, broken up by Priority and what I should be working on for the day. I am also working on a post for this as well,
