Nush a Yummy Keto Treat
Okay, for many of those out there who are eating a ketogenic diet know it can be hard to not have sweets or even think about having sweets. In our home the kids love baking and most of the time its baking cupcakes, banana breads, muffins and things that a person on Keto it’s just a no go unless you get creative. I have made keto bread and keto mug-cakes but not so satisfying.
Since starting keto I’ve been following several influencers on instagram that live, promote and also help couch with the Keto diet. I saw one of them unboxing a Nush variety pack. When she took the little cakes out they looked like yummy little pound cakes. I quickly clicked the link and ordered my variety pack, not just because it was being promoted but when entering the website it is said “The difference with protein, fat, and fiber is that they tend to satisfy your appetite, not rev it up. We kinda like that idea.” They use sugar substitutes which is a heaven sent for anyone on Keto wanting a little something sweet and without get kicked off ketosis.
A variety pack is $17.94 plus shipping, you get one of each cakes which is Banana Nut, Blueberry, Carrot Spice, Peanut Butter, Cherry Almond and Pineapple Mango. Each cake is less then 4g net carbs, being that I have baked my own Keto muffins and Keto breads I was on the fence because I was afraid it be too dry or taste like artificial sweeteners. Shipping was fast and once it got here Juan and I dived right in. Once I took the cake out of the wrapper I noticed immediately that it was soft and spongy. We took the first bite and OMG! GOOD, their light fluffy, so yummy. I was expecting a little granny and dry, but they tasted amazing. We wanted to of course take have one every once in a while but the box was done after a couple days.
I recommend it to a friend who also is on keto and she also ate them so fast. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
