Fresh Beauty
A week ago I was invited to a floral event from Fresh Beauty Kitchen on Lafayette Street, such a cute store. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the smell of the fresh flowers that we would be using. The class was taught by an amazing florist. She taught us the art of positioning the greenery in a bouquet so that they would be used a bed for the bigger flower like roses and peonies. We learned that turning your vase would help you view the bouquet as you build it, allowing you a better view of how your arrangement will look in the end. Lastly, we placed tulips in, once we were done with our bouquets, some of us went around the store taking selfies of their own creations. Meanwhile, I went on the hunt for the new Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask. It was sold out! My heart broke but no worries there still other stuff that I was dying to try.
Wanting to try out the Rose line, I picked up the Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner and the Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream. I also picked up the Soy Facial Cleanser, Some Lip Treatments, Sugar Lip Balm and a Sugar Lemon Parfum. The moment I came home and the girls went gaga over the arrangement of pinks and greens. I washed my face and started trying things out. WOW! is all I can say. I completely stopped using the facial products that I was using to give these an honest go around. I wasn’t surprised at how smooth and amazing my face felt.
What’s a little funny is that the hubby went to give me a kiss that night and said: “wow, your face smells good.” I wasn’t sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult, does my face smell bad usually? In the past whenever I used other face creams or toners, in the morning I see where my skin needs more attention being that I have some dry spots. After the second day of using these products, I didn’t see the dry spots. The Rose Toner is not harsh on the skin like some and the scent of rose isn’t as harsh either. The only issue is that the kids weren’t such a huge fan of the rose sent. I picked up the smaller sizes of these and once they are done I will definitely be picking up a bigger size. I am not such a huge of picking up full size bottles because if I am not aware of how my skin will react to it I wouldn’t want to spend so much on a product that I wouldn’t use in the future. With Fresh Beauty, you can’t go wrong. Their products are natural and feel and smell amazing.
