Fall is Here
October is here and you know what that means, all things fall and beautiful orange and brown tones. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, I do enjoy the summer and spring but nothing compares to the fall. School has has started and the weather is getting cool and chilly, this means LAYERS! I know, I know I may be too excited, I cant help myself.
I read a quote that stated that Autumn was defined by Misty Mornings, Cozy Nights, Crunchy Leaves and Pumpkin Spice. Pumpkin Spice is everywhere and to most everything this season. I recently tried the Pumpkin Cold Brew at Starbucks and there was no reason to add extra sweetener. There are so many fun things to enjoy in the city, and when fall comes around New York City looks absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be taking trips to central park for all the fall festivals. Thats where you see all the fall fashion outfits that people put together. I love spending some time on Pinterest looking at fall fashion ideas like;
The kids are so excited that it’s October, I think more so because Halloween is coming and that means trick or treating, all the parties and candies they’ll get to enjoy. Which to be completely honest I enjoy as well, I love to see all the kids in their costume. One things we have been doing every year is Boo at the Zoo, the Bronx zoo has this great event for the kids to see all the lovely animals at the zoo in their costumes and have a great time wearing their costumes. The zoo also has a little parade with beautiful creatures on stilts who parade their stuff while the kids watch in amazement. It is also fun for adults too, at the zoo there is also a Brewery for those of you who want to enjoy the zoo and have a beer.
This year we saw on mommypoppins.com that there will be a Nights of 1,000 Jack O’ Lanterns, which will be taken place on October 17-October 27th on Governors Island. There will be lit, carved Jack O’ Lanterns and spooky music that I think all kids of all ages would have fun admiring these carved pumpkins.
What are excited for when the fall comes around?
