Diet Update- Keto or Ketoish

Hello Everyone,

The month of September was not so great when it came to my diet and I am paying for it. As you know I live a ketogenic lifestyle and when I usually go over my carb intake its usually really easy for me to go back to normal. Being on a ketogenic diet has helped me so much. It has minimized my anxiety, helped me focus on both school and my memory was getting better. To be completely honest I never felt better, I can’t saw that I feel so hot right now.

It has been several weeks of me eating Ketoish, which for me is eating roughly two Keto meals and one not so great meal. This has been causing a major difference in my physical and mental heath. I have had so much bloating its crazy, my weight has been fluctuating up and down. In all honestly I hate this feeling, I have been sleeping on and off. My concentration has been foggy. When I was strictly on keto I was mentally clear and able to focus on all things work, school and parenting.

There is so much that needs to be done to get back in order and im in the presses of doing so. I wanted to share some things I will be doing to get back into ketosis and get back to where I was.
1)      Get back to eating the accurate amount of macros:
1321 Kcal Daily Calorie Intake
30g Carbs (9%, 120 kcal)
77g Protein (23%, 308kcal)
99g Fat (68%, 893kcal)
2)    Drink at least 64 ounces of Water
3) Drink my Exogenous Ketone (If your interested in which I take, leave a comment)
3)    Meal Prep to insure I keep on track
4)    Work out at least 3 times a week to start
5)    Keeping myself accountable for my actions

These steps should get me back to where I need to be to get fully into ketosis so that I can feel back to normal. That may seem a little strange to say because being on a diet doesn’t seem normal but the ketogenic diet became a way of lifestyle. I will post an update in 30 days. Let’s get back to feeling good.
