Setting Powders FAIL

Setting powders have seem to be somthing I dislike, even though now that I am getting older and have fine lines around my eyes and mouth I am in need.

I have spent so long looking for a good setting powder. A dear friend suggested that I try the Maybeline Master Setting Powder "NOPE" it left my under eyes looking like i got smacked in the face with baby powder. Not to mention the Flash back in any pictures I took. While taking a stroll with the hubbs I found the E.l.f Cosmetics loose setting powder in translucent. "WHY ME?" same thing all over again this time my skin was white and sparking, so I looked like I sprayed glitter on my face after the baby powder lol.

A few months back while at my local beauty supply store I came across LA Girl Cosmetics HD Setting Powder in Banana/Yellow. I looked it up online and said hey "what the heck" the website read (Banana Setting Powder- A yellow toned finishing powder that sets the foundation and mattifies skin all while correcting redness and neutralizing dark under tones.) "HELL YES!" No flash back no strange white baby powder face it was great.

I must admit I am learning as I go. I know some of you reading this may be like "hello how could she not know this." but for some not using a product often enough or never needing it in the past they may not exactly know which is best for them so trying and failing is bound to happen.
