PB&B Brownies

Sundays are such a lazy day for us because the next day is back to work and back to school for the kids. While the hubby and I were in the kitchen figuring out what we would make for dinner, he uttered the words "I want cake." So did I. I grabbed the cake mix boxes and one was a box of brownie mix. We decided to make brownies and not just your regular chocolate brownies, peanut butter and banana brownies.

The box recipe called for 2 eggs, 1/2 of cup oil, and 3 tablespoons of water. We mixed in half a cup of melted peanut butter and two medium mashed bananas.

Once the brownie mix was completed, we worked the banana and the peanut butter into the mix.

We baked it in a 10" cast iron pan for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

Oh was it yummy. You could taste the banana and peanut butter, the kids loved it. They had some with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I would recommend this recipe to anyone who loves banana and peanut butter. And chocolate. And brownies...
