January Skin & Nail Care
Winter season can be harsh on the skin and hands, my skin changes every season and when Its cold I try my best not to put any drying products on my face. These products are the ones I have been using this month.
Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing and Repair Hand cream:
I purchased this a while ago and felt to moisturizing so I stopped using it, now that the weather is so cold I find my hands drying more faster. They started looking so dry as if I wasn't lotioning my hands, they looked ashy. I went digging thru my creams and found this one in the bunch I gave it a go and it's been what I have been using every day and my hands are looking smoother and feel softer.
Vaseline Intensive care advance repair:
Like my hands, my elbows, knees, and shins are also dry and need some love. It drives me nuts that this happens to my skin. I love mostly all Vaseline products and this one, in particular, is Eczema approved which some of my kids have so I take along with me just in case they also get a flare up. I would recommend this because I do not leave the skin feeling greasy or oily.
L'Oreal Exfoliate & Refine Clay Mask:
I have been using this mask since last month and continue to use it this month. I bought this mask on a whim I usually by the sheet mask because no mask could live up to the Mask of Magnaminty by Lush. I bought this after several people letting me know that the new clay masks that L'Oreal were great and that I should give it a go. After the first couple times using this mask, it has been go-to, I am looking forward to trying their other masks.
Kiehl's Calendula deep cleansing foaming face wash:
I got this in a gift set for Christmas, I have not tried any Kiehl's products except lip balms but I am so happy that I did I haven't used a face wash that made my skin feel so clean. It is a gel cleanser, that cleans all the impurities in the skin. I usually feel like I clean my skin but after using this face wash with my pink facial brush, my skin feel smooth and nourished.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate:
Who doesn't want their skin to feel and heal while your sleeping? This formula works while your sleeping to repair the skin from all the previous day's aggressors. This is a great blend of lavender, squalene, and primrose which hydrates the skin to give your skin a softer and brighter look. This was also given in my gift set.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye:
I use all different types of makeup and sometimes wear makeup longer than I actually should so getting this along with my other Kiehl's products I figured I'd give it a try and am so happy that I did. My under eyes have reduced redness and irritation, they look brighter and feel more full then sunk in. Going to keep using this to see how it comes out.
Sally Hansen's concentrated Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil:
This is such a good Nail and Cuticle Oil, I have been such a huge fan of Sally Hansen. Their nail products have been around for so long. I remember my mother using their products and her nails were always amazing.Due to the colds weather with my dry hands, my cuticles have also been dry. Using this cuticle oil has been a heaven sent for this nasty weather. My nails look great and less like a nervous nelly who chews on her cuticles, even though I am the nervous nelly lol.
Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Hard as Wrap:
I am so happy I found this, I have been having issues with nail weakness and creaking nails. I clean clothing by hand and do the dishes like very busy mom and unfortunately, our nails tend to get the brunt of it. I was using the 18K gold strength but it wasn't working. Since I have been using this I have noticed a huge difference in my nails. I would definitely recommend this is a new favorite of mine.
