Latest Foundation Loves
There are so many new foundations that I’ve been dying to try. The minimalist in me is constantly telling myself not to spend unnecessary money on makeup. Lately I have actually been listening to that part of me. A couple of weeks ago I went over the ones that I have been using the most. I was pleasantly surprised that it was only three foundations that I have been loving.
L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation, Lightweight: From the beginning this foundation was a big win for me, it went on smooth and did not leave the skin looking dewy or Matt. I would like to say that the foundation leaves your skin looking like skin. The coverage is phenomenal and you can put more if you feel that its too light. It climes to last 24 hours, I wouldn’t recommend wearing makeup for 24 hours but it does last a very long time and does not crack on the skin or get patchy at all. It does have a smell but its tollarable smells like perfume in a way. It has SPF I have been recommending friends and family to buy.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation: I can’t get enough of this foundation, I originally saw an Influencer using it on instagram. The way it looked on her face and the fact that she only used a small about made me run out and buy it. I wanted to try a foundation that I didn’t have to use so much and that was a good amount of coverage. It does have a more glowing finish but still looks natural and not wet. The added bonus is that there is an SPF 50 which is outstanding and antioxidants to protect against pollution. Skin care is an important thing for me so reading this was the cherry on top. Definitely a buy.
Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation: First off the retail price is $48.00 and I found mine at Marshalls for like $20.00! Great steal. I tried Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Full Coverage foundation and enjoyed wearing it. I heard great reviews in the Soft Luminous and the moment I saw it at Marshalls it was an instant must buy. It is a light weight foundation which for me is great for days when I don’t feel like wearing anything full coverage. It both hydrating and long lasting on the skin. Which when I am out all day is great. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a light weight foundation that is going to leave the skin looking naturally glowing and soft.
These foundations have been a must have for me and I have have already purchased new ones. Foundations can be such a tricky thing to try, companies like Sephora have sample bottles of foundation. This will allow you to figure out if the shade doesn’t work for you or if you have any skin sensitivity to it.
